Fitting Landscape Layers

On saterday 1 july the felting crew is fitting all layers of the landscape together. The deep dark wool is covered with grey wool of Drents Heath Sheep (visible on the left side). This part is showing the lower parts of the landscape on the Friesland site of the  border. The white wool of the Drents Heath sheep stands for the reliëf in the landscape. This is also the aria of the wheel tracks of carriages passing by during the periode of the Middle Ages. Nowadays well known as the hollow track of Bakkeveen. Tomorrow we will finishe the feltscape of Allardsoog by volling the layers.
