FELT CONVERSATIONS IN GÖTTAS HOUSE
This land of Äskhult is considered as a continually unfolding story. The surface of landscape tells or describes the chronicle of life, housing and work. In order to gather data from the surface of Jönsas field, the body itself is used as an instrument of measure. It is a way to map the characteristics of the landscape and provide new empathy, interpretation and awareness of landscape, based on geographical tradition. Entangled with the making of feltscapes is the research for the cultural historic dynamic of the landscape, related to the ensemble of tasks of farmers and caretakers. As a result of this ongoing process of making landscape, stones and lines are still moving.
