Being in Normandy, visiting the Tapisserie de Bayeux is a must. Embroidered medieval storytelling (1070-1080) showing two parallel timelines. When telling the story of the battle for England by Willem the Conquerer in 1066 in the upper section, the bottom line is showing remarkable details. Of course my eye catched the farmers cultivating the fields, closing the fresh sown soil.
