HEDGES

In the hummocky scenery hedges are cutting the bare soil exactly on top. One part for each neighbour or two for each farmer. Dense vegetation of mostly hazelnut and occasionally oak. Growing on earthen walls, remains of ancient deforesting. Intended to be maintained.
