MODERN DISCGOLFCOURSE ON ANCIENT ARABLE LAND

A bike ride to Karlslund at the west side of Örebro along the river Svartån brought me to arable fields from 1500. Black Alnus trees are growing along the river echoing the rivers name.

Ancient arable fields entangled by leisure sports.
Trunks of black alnus are still growing on top of the fields.
Undulating path crossing several arable fields.
Drainage towards the river Svartån.
The lower parts between the fields, once used for waterdrainage are still containing snow.
Demarcated place for the throwing of frisbees.
